"I'm here to kick ass and drink cups of tea, and I'm all out of tea..."

My name's Steph and I'm a freelance graphic designer with seven years of experience overlapping with nine years experience in film, television and commercials. I’m a visual storyteller and narrative-focused graphic designer whose work has earned two APDG nominations for Best Graphic Design, recognising my work on TV series New Gold Mountain and Crazy Fun Park.

Backed by a Master of Production Design for Screen, my practice blends strong storytelling instincts with a keen eye for detail. I specialise in props, signage and on-screen graphics that make fictional worlds feel real whether they’re meant to blend into the background or take centre stage, whether realistic or stylised.

Recognising my professionalism, abilities and achievements, the VCA’s School of Design & Production has invited me to guest lecture on Graphic Design for Filmmaking for three consecutive years.

Originally trained as a fine artist, I apprenticed as a tattoo artist before turning my focus to film. That hands-on foundation informs my work in illustration and hand-drawn typography, bringing personality and craftsmanship to every piece, emphasising I’m not just a mouse-clicker, but an artisan.
